Haftoni (Talysh: Haftoni) is a village and municipality in the Lankaran Rayon of Azerbaijan. It has a population of 2,685. The municipality consists of the villages of Haftoni, Talışlı, and Xanlıqlı.[1]

Toponomy[edit]

The word Haftoni is translated from the Talysh as "Seven springs" (haft-seven, honi-spring).

Population[edit]

The town has a population of over 2,600. The ethnic composition of the population consists of Talysh.
