Crendon Replicas is a British manufacturer of automobiles.[1]

Company history[edit]

Crendon Replicas CR 427

John Kerr founded the company in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, in 1991. He started producing automobiles and kits. The brand name is Crendon Replicas. The company later moved to Westcott, also in Buckinghamshire. A total of around 100 copies have been created so far.[2]

The project was started in 2001 by Anthony Hale and his company Absolute Horsepower Ltd. accepted.[3][4]

Vehicles[edit]

Crendon Replicas CR 427

The only model is the CR 427, a replica of the AC Cobra. The body is usually made of glass fibre reinforced plastic . Only one vehicle had an aluminium body. Many parts come from the Jaguar XJ6. The vehicles are often powered by a V8 engine from Ford.
